At Summer Games Fest, Ubisoft dropped updates, highlighted an early access launch, and announced a long awaited remake for its Prince of Persia franchise.

First, the company announced a free update and an upcoming story-focused DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The 2.5D action-adventure platformer first launched in January. Today’s free update and September’s DLC should extend player’s interest in the metroidvania-style adventure.

Next, the company highlighted The Rogue Prince of Persia, the franchise’s take on an action roguelite. The title launched into early access on Steam on May 27, 2024. Fans can try out the titles gripping platforming and acrobatic combat today. The company also showed off its upcoming update during the show.

Finally, Ubisoft is returning to the franchise’s roots with a familiar title. After many delays, the long awaited remake of the The Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time is coming in 2026.
