If you’re looking to pick up a powerful gaming laptop for a reasonable price, you’re in luck. Best Buy’s selling the HP Omen for just $1,099.99, which is a savings of $300. This machine has a spacious, 16-inch high refresh rate screen and loads of storage for your massive games library. It’s also well reviewed on Best Buy. On reviewer says it’s the perfect balance between speed, portability, and affordability. Talk about high praise!
The HP Omen features an Intel Core i7-13620H CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. This machine should be able to breeze through most games on the High or Ultra graphics setting. For more competitive titles, I’d recommend scaling the graphics back to Medium. The 16.1-inch display has a resolution of 1920×1080 and a refresh rate of 144Hz, which means visuals should be nice and smooth. For connectivity options, you’re getting one HDMI 2.1, three USB-A 3.2, and one USB-C 3.2. Not a bad selection of ports.
