Just questioning how other open-source designers handle legitimate by badly-written pull demands.
I generally work carefully with the PR author, providing numerous rounds of ideas up until it’s up to our task’s coding requirements. Often the PR author “leaves” of the procedure in disappointment, as they were simply attempting to provide us a fast repair, and didn’t always wish to do a great deal of work. In those cases, I generally thank them, and reword the PR (or greatly customize it). I’m reluctant to do this in all cases, because frequently the PR author is delighted to see their name as part of the factors list, and/or to see their own code utilized in the task.
